The Okefenokee Swamp Park is a 501.c.3 not for profit swamp showcase that opened its gates to the public in October of 1946. Since then, millions of visitors from around the globe have enjoyed this unique window into the Swamp. We receive no direct contributions from the state, local or federal government. To move forward, we appreciate all contributions to help us accomplish our mission.

The Swamp Park is fortunate to underwrite its ongoing operating expenses with money raised from admissions but, like every nonprofit, needs contributions to help pay for new, expanded programming and unbudgeted capital expenditures. Our trustees are volunteers, who serve without pay and who are committed to preserving this unique opportunity for learning about the largest blackwater swamp in the hemisphere. To facilitate increased involvement by our donors, the Board has created the OSPrey Project and set levels for annual contributors. All members will be acknowledged on our website.
